She died on 18 Jan 2011 in , Salt Lake, Utah, USA. She was buried on 22 Jan 2011 in West Jordan City Cemetery, West Jordan City, Salt Lake, Utah, USA.
Sascha Lynn Nell Hurst 1984 ~ 2011 After battling an unknown cancer Sascha passed away in the arms of her family in the most comfortable bed in the house on January 18, 2011.Born June 20, 1984 in Sandy, Utah to her loving parents Scott and Pat Nell. She graduated from Hillcrest High School in 2002. She married Jaysen Nuttall on April 24, 2004, later divorced. Married Brandon Hurst October 8, 2005, later divorced. She gave birth to her first son Tucker Hurst in December 2006, followed by Ryker Hurst in 2008. In Sascha's short 26 years of life she touched countless hearts with her sunshine-like smile. Sascha was truly a person that loved life, and lived every day with a positive attitude and smile on her face. Edward Cullen stole Sascha's heart in 2005 when the Twilight Saga began, and was hooked ever since, being Twilight's #1 fan. She loved to read, her nose was almost always inside a book when she wasn't playing with her boys. She also had a passion for cooking and sewing. Sascha passed the Mommy Test with flying colors, she was such an amazing mother and always made sure her boys knew how much she loved them. Sascha was an inspiration to everyone; her doctor said that she was diagnosed with the biggest, baddest, ugliest, most aggressive, fastest moving cancer he had ever seen in his 25 years of being a doctor. Her cancer was a mystery to even the MAYO clinic. All the while battling this illness she had a million dollar smile on her face. She is survived by her little men Tucker, age 4 and Ryker, age 2, her parents Scott and Pat Nell, sisters Randi and Kinsey Nell, grandparents Vern and Anne Sisam, Jack and Marion Nell, many aunts, uncles and cousins, her life-long friend Jacque Findlay, and many other family and friends that are too numerous to list. Thanks to all of the support and help from West 8 at LDS Hospital, her doctor Richard Frame and her nurse Cory from Utah Hospice Specialists, and the River 8th Ward. In lieu of flowers a fund has been established for her boys at any Zion's Bank in the name of Sascha Hurst. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the River 8th Ward, 1239 W. 10775 S. A viewing will be held Friday, January 21, 2011 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. So. Jordan Pkwy (10600 S.) and from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the church on Sat.
