E.H. FRAZER PASSES AWAY E.H. Frazer, long time resident of Henry county, died at the Memorial hospital at three o'clock this afternoon. Mr. Frazer had been in the hospital the past month as a result of a fall in which he broke his hip.
He had been showing some improvement but suffered a relapse this afternoon and suddenly passed away.
Mr. Frazer is the father of Mr. Manly Frazer of this city. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

EDWARD H. FRAZER Funeral Is Held
Salem, Iowa--Edward H. Frazer, son of Alson G. and Mary Hockett-Frazer, was born March 31, 1854, in Tippecanoe township, Henry county, Iowa, where he spent his entire life, with the exception of the last three and a half years spent in Mt. Pleasant. He suffered injuries in a fall on July 24. He passed away at the Memorial hospital in Mt. Pleasant, Ia., on August 23, 1941, at the advanced age of 87 years, four months and 23 days.
He was the oldest of seven children of whom only two survive. They are Mrs. Rebecca White of Salem, Iowa, and Alson G. Frazer of Crookston, Minn.
He was united in marriage to Martha Harshbarger on May 14, 1876. After more than sixty years spent together, she departed this life on Nov. 2, 1937. More than 58 years had been spent in the same location.
To them were born four sons, all of whom remain to mourn the loss of a loving father. They are Manly G., of Mt. Pleasant, Ia.; Perry G., of Chicago, Ill.; George F.. of Corning, California; and Ernest A. of near Mt. Pleasant, Ia. There are also nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, who he loved most dearly, besides a host of friends.
He was a birthright member of the Cedar Creek Friends church to which faith he remained faithful to the end.
Funeral services were held at the Cedar Creek Friends church, Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Mrs. Bessie Collins officiating, using for the themes of her text "Faith," taken from Hebrew 6: 18-19. The songs, "The Eastern Gate" and "The End of the Way" were sung by Mrs. Howard Brown, Mrs. Orville Mills, Howard Brown and Clayton Mills accompanied by Mrs. Bert Jay. Interment was in the East cemetery and pall bearers were Walter Crane, Roy Barton, C.O. Elliott, E.W. Haas, J.L. Mills and L. A. Mills.
