"ZELLA FULLMER OBITUARY
Zella Fay Polson Fullmer, 88, of Driggs, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017, at her home surrounded by family. She was born Nov. 5, 1928, in Roberts, Idaho, the eldest child of William Leonard Polson and Elsie Levada Yorty Polson.She graduated from Idaho Falls High School.
She married Theral Gene Fullmer on June 16, 1947. He preceded her in death in May 2016. She and Gene worked for the Grand Teton National Park Service. She also worked for Teton County School District as an aide and retired from there. She always considered her family her number one priority.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities.
She is survived by her children, Maria (Glen) Houghton, of Pocatello; Fay Fullmer, of Salt Lake City, Utah; Randy (Sherry) Fullmer, of Tetonia; Del (Terri) Fullmer, of Driggs; Barbara (Owen) Moulton, of Driggs; and Kathy (Jerry) Saville, of Idaho Falls; brothers, Jack (Ann) Polson, of Lake Havasu, Arizona, and Bill Polson, of Reno, Nevada; sisters-in-law, Deloris Davis, of Othello, Washington, and Donna Mae (Dan) Sorensen, of St. George, Utah; brother-in-law, Ronnie (Kay) Fullmer, of Tetonia; 31 grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Fullmer; son William Don Fullmer; sister, Lila Mae Kendall; granddaughter, Hannah Fullmer; and her parents, Bill and Elsie Polson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 21, at Driggs LDS Stake Center, with Bishop Michael Brown, of the Driggs 2nd Ward, officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Friday from noon to 12:45 p.m., both times at the stake center. Burial will be in Cache-Clawson Cemetery under the direction of Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg." Post Register, July 19 to Jul. 20, 2017.

"Theral Gene Fullmer passed away peacefully at his home in Darby, Idaho, on his 89th birthday, May 25th, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Gene was born May 25, 1927 in Hayden, Idaho to Elva and Don Fullmer. He was the second of five children. He lived in Hayden for much of his childhood and helped his father raise cattle, hay, and sheep on the family farm. During Gene’s high school years he was a Golden-Glove Boxer, a Fullmer tradition, which he loved and excelled at. Gene joined the Army Air Corps when he was 17 where he was a sharpshooter and served in the Military Police.
He served his Country during the Second World War and received the WWII Victory Medal. After the War, Gene met his sweetheart, Zella Fay Polson at the War Bonnet Round-Up in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They courted and were married June 16th , 1947 in Dillon, Montana. Zella, or “Sweet Baby” as he called her, was the love of his life and together they were blessed with seven children. One of the family’s favorite spots was String Lake in Grand Teton National Park where Gene taught his children (and later his grandchildren) how to camp and the art of rock skipping. These were some of their fondest memories with grandpa. Gene loved his family; he enjoyed spending time with them and sharing stories of his youth. Gene also liked playing his guitar and singing. He shared his talent by teaching some of his grandchildren how to play. Gene was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and exemplified its teachings of kindness and charity with his goodness, sweet, quiet demeanor, honesty, and relentless desire to serve those around him. Gene is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jimmy Kneedy, his son William Don Fullmer, and his granddaughter Hannah Nichole Fullmer. Gene is survived by his loving wife Zella Fullmer, and his six children: Maria Houghton (Glen), Fay Fullmer, Randy Fullmer (Sherry), Del Fullmer (Terri), Barbara Moulton (Owen), and Kathy Saville (Jerry). Gene and Zella were blessed with 31 grandchildren, and 73 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 31st at the Driggs Stake Center. The family received Monday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment was in the Cache Clawson Cemetery." Teton Valley News, July 8, 2016.
