Came to Canada Settlement with her parents in May 1839

Lovina married Jonas M. Reed ¹, son of Samuel S. Reed and Phebe Sanford, on 19 Mar 1840. Jonas was born on 23 May 1819 in Renssalear, Delaware, New York, USA. He died on 7 Nov 1896. He was buried in Reed Cemetery, Buffalo, Ogle, Illinois, USA.

He died on 30 May 1902 in Polo, Ogle, Illinois, USA. He was buried in Fairmont Cemetery, Polo, Ogle, Illinois, USA.

Brand was a farmer and came to Canada Settlement in 1840 with
his parents  from York County, Ontario, Canada.  At the time of
his marriage to  Leanora, theyt bought a farm in what was known
as "Goose Hollow" in the  south part of Sec.26 in Brookville
Township, Ogle Co, Ill.  He sold this  farm in 1874 and moved to
a farm 1 mile North of Polo, Mar.1, 1875, and  lived there until
March 1, 1886, when they moved to Polo.

They had the following children.

Enlisted in Civil War and served in Co.D., 32nd Illinois Volunteer Infantry and served  til the end of the War under Generals Wilder and Kilpatrick.  Was a farmer and later operated a sawmill.

James married Ann Stewart Rogers on 19 Sep 1868. Ann was born on 4 Jun 1849. She died on 8 Aug 1872 in Grand DeTour, Ogle, Illinois, USA. She was buried in Elkhorn Brick Church Cemetery, Eagle Point, Ogle, Illinois, USA.

James also married Frances Jeanette Rogers on 4 Feb 1874. Frances was born on 22 Jan 1846. She died on 14 Apr 1899 in Grand DeTour, Ogle, Illinois, USA. She was buried in Elkhorn Brick Church Cemetery, Eagle Point, Ogle, Illinois, USA.

Frances is a sister of John's first wife.

43. Joseph N. Sanborn (Susan Johnson , Catharine Hommen , Elijah ) was born on 15 Mar 1846 in Buffalo, Ogle, Illinois, USA. He died on 8 Nov 1919 in Cedar, Lucas, Iowa, USA.

Enlisted in the Army at age 15 and served during the whole duration of  the Civil War as a Corporal in Co. F.,4th. Ill., and in Co.G., 12th.  Ill., Cav.  Source-- Canada Settlement
In 1868 Joseph and Jennie moved to  Cedar Township, Lucas Co., Iowa and lived there til they died.

Joseph married Jennie R. Lutz on 5 Dec 1867. Jennie was born in Sep 1848 in , Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA. She died on 18 Dec 1907 in Cedar, Lucas, Iowa, USA. She was buried in Bethel Cemetery.

Came to Canada Settlement with her parents in 1838.  She and
Philetus  moved in 1867 to Plattsmouth, Nebraska where she died.
He then moved to  Lincoln, Nebraska with his 4 daughters until
1886 when he and Lillus and  Juliana moved toPasedena,
California.

Nancy married Philetus Peck in May 1852. Philetus died in 1911 in Pasedena, California.
