"Andrea Lynn Sartain (Glover), 40, died tragically July 26, 2009 when she and Dean were struck by an automobile while motorcycling.
Andrea worked as a media assistant at Warhill High School where she was an avid supporter of the track team and a special friend to many students.
Andrea enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, crafts and travel. Andrea and her family worshiped at the Williamsburg Community Chapel for many years. Andrea was a supportive Army wife and homemaker.
She is survived by her husband Dean; children Alec and Brianne; her parents Gene and Jenny Glover; brother Kris Glover and his wife Rita; her sister Robin Mathews and husband Carl and her in-laws Duane and Audrey Sartain.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 5th from 6 to 8 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 6th at 3:30pm and the Williamsburg Community Chapel. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery Monday, August 24 at 2:00pm.
Andrea has touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew her.

Andrea Lynn Sartain, 40, of Willi-amsburg, Va., and formerly of Salem, died Sunday, July 26, 2009, from injuries sustained in a car/motorcycle accident in Sierra Vista, Ariz.
Born July 15, 1969, in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of Gene and Jenny Bruggemeyer Glover. On March 25, 1989, she married Dean Sartain in Lawton, Okla.
Mrs. Sartain worked as a media assistant at Warhill High School. She was a supporter of the track team and special friend to many students. She was a 1988 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School.
She worshiped at the Williamsburg Community Chapel for many years. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, animals, fishing, crafts, gardening, travel and horseback riding. She had just completed her first sky diving experience.
Survivors include her husband; two children, Alec Sartain and Brianne Sartain, both of Williamsburg; her parents of Salem; one brother, Kris Glover of Mount Pleasant; one sister, Robin Mathews of Salem; two grandmothers, Doris Glover and Arlene Bruggemeyer, both of Mount Pleasant; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers.
Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Friday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery on Monday, Aug. 24, 2009.
